NBC has cancelled My Name is Earl - Ethan Suplee, who plays Randy, just posted the news on Twitter: “Just got the call that My Name Is Earl has been canceled. They sure did take their time with that decision or rather informing us of it.” Sorry to hear the series is over - My Name is Earl has always been a fun part of the NBC Thursday Night lineup.

This comes as a surprise… ABC has canceled “Samantha Who?” after two seasons. EW.com’s Ausiello is reporting that multiple sources confirm the Samantha Who? cancellation.

TV cancellations are coming on fast and furious - the latest casualty is ABC’s “The Unusuals.” The Unusuals, a cop dramey starring Amber Tamblyn and Harold Perrineau, has been canceled. Series creator Noah Hawley broke the news on Twitter: “Friends, just heard The Unusuals will not be back for a second season. Thanks for all your amazing support. Last [four] episodes start May 27.”

Save Chuck fans want an update on the fate of their favorite series… and so far it’s unclear if the Save Chuck fans’ Subway campaign garnered enough attention for a renewal. In a USA Today poll of shows that are in danger of cancellation, Chuck fans voted the NBC series as the one to save. More than half of the 41,000 people polled were Chuck fans - looking for the series to snag a renewal. Chuck’s second season finale aired Monday and fans were deliriously happy… and wanting more. NBC has not yet decided if a third season renewal will happen or not

Sad news for fans of the long running soap opera Guiding Light - CBS has canceled the daytime sudser due to declining raings. Guiding Light got its start on radio in 1937 before moving to TV in 1952. Guiding Light’s last episode will air September 18. Be on the lookout for yet another talk show or game show to fill the void left by the Guiding Light cancellation.

Prison Break couldn’t go on forever - and FOX has just announced that this will be the final season of the drama. FOX’s press release said: “The greatest escape on television comes to an end after four suspenseful seasons when PRISON BREAK returns for the series’ final episodes beginning Friday, April 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.” The press release further reveals details about the series finale of Prison Break: “Following a series of double-crosses, the brothers now find themselves racing to retrieve SCYLLA, which unbeknownst to them has landed in the possession of their estranged mother and Company operative Christina (Kathleen Quinlan).” What do you think about Prison Break being cancelled?
