NBC renews “Chuck” … fans go wild! Well, at least that’s the reaction I imagine that Chuck fans would have. News that NBC renewed “Chuck” comes tonight from the Hollywood Reporter , just when we thought NBC couldn’t drag this decision out any longer. Looks like the “Save Chuck” Subway campaign might have helped garner some attention anyway. Will you be tuning in when Chuck returns for its third season?

NBC Renews “Chuck” for Third Season

NBC has Chuck fans chewing off their fingernails, waiting for any glimmer of renewal news… and we’ll have to keep waiting. NBC unveiled their fall lineup this morning, but nary a mention of Chuck (or Law & Order, Medium, Life or My Name is Earl, for that matter). Now Chuck fans will have to wait until the May 19 upfronts for NBC to give the renewal news.

Save Chuck fans want an update on the fate of their favorite series… and so far it’s unclear if the Save Chuck fans’ Subway campaign garnered enough attention for a renewal. In a USA Today poll of shows that are in danger of cancellation, Chuck fans voted the NBC series as the one to save. More than half of the 41,000 people polled were Chuck fans - looking for the series to snag a renewal. Chuck’s second season finale aired Monday and fans were deliriously happy… and wanting more. NBC has not yet decided if a third season renewal will happen or not

It’s official: Julianne Hough is breaking up with Dancing with the Stars . She and real-life boyfriend country singer Chuck Wicks were eliminated from the ABC competition Tuesday night and Hough confirmed that she will not be back for season 9. “I’m not doing next season … I’m gonna take one off,” she said in an interview with Access Hollywood .
