Kara DioGuardi appeared on this morning’s installment of The View to talk about, naturally, American Idol. Barbara Walters asked about Adam Lambert being gay, to which Kara DioGuardi responded, “I don’t think that Adam was ever in [the closet]. I think he was always openly out.” Barbara further asked if he was openly out because Adam Lambert has never said one way or the other and Kara said, “I think he was. I mean from what I’ve seen … I do. I never thought he wasn’t.” In other Adam Lambert is-he-or-isn’t-he-gay news… The NY Post is reporting that Lambert will appear on the cover of Rolling Stone where he will be coming out “officially.”

It was only a matter of time - Britain’s Got Talent phenom Susan Boyle will appear in an Oprah Winfrey interview on Monday, May 11. Susan Boyle will share her Scotland home, giving a tour to Oprah and viewers and talking more about her life up until that Britain’s Got Talent audition. Oprah will also interview Simon Cowell and talented folks from around the world, in an episode called “The World’s Got Talent.”
