Yesterday was a tough one for Madonna , whose 7 ½-year marriage to Guy Ritchie was announced to be headed for divorce court.  But at last night’s concert in Boston, she kept tight-lipped about the whole ordeal. The only time she came close to mentioning Ritchie was when she introduced “Miles Away,” when she commented that the song was dedicated to the “emotionally retarded.  You may know a few people like that.  God knows I do.”

Did anyone actually watch “Opportunity Knocks,” the Ashton Kutcher-produced ABC game show? Opportunity Knocks was canceled after just three episodes, with its last episode only grabbing 5.2 million viewers. At least it didn’t make TV Crunch’s 25 Worst Game Shows list.

American Idol alum Nikki McKibbin , a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, has revealed Simon Cowell led her on a downward spiral. “I came out of Idol with a lack of self-confidence,” McKibbin tells the new issue of Us Weekly. “I think I had my first solo in school when I was 5, and I got more as I got older: That’s the biggest compliment in choir. I had never been told I wasn’t good enough. Having to hear it for so many weeks from Simon Cowell killed me inside. I couldn’t get the s–t he had said to me out of my head.” She continued: “It drove me deeper into my depression.

With Korto, Leanne and Kenley as finalists, season five’s Fashion Week runway show was a Project Runway first — all the final designers were women. As the women put the finishing touches on their final runway garments, Tim Gunn revealed that they could only showcase 10 of their final 12 looks. Since edit decisions are completely crucial at this point, panic quickly set in. Korto chose to scrap a couple of her looks all-together and create two new ones at the last minute. Kenley. as usual, was resistant to Tim’s constructive criticism, but came around and listened to her mentor when it came to including dresses in her lineup.
